This auction that is yearly held in Florida, this time recorded its highest selling price for the Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider sold more exactly for $17,160,000. Gooding and Company claim a weekend haul of $60,162,150 in total sales with 87% of all cars being sold during the auction event.
The Gooding & Company also played host to the sale of a handful of Porsche’s from Jerry Seinfeld’s personal prized collection. The most sought after car from Seinfeld’s collection was a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder which sold for a final hammer price of $5,335,000 and claimed the spot for 2nd highest selling lot of the auction. The third highest selling car at the auction was a 1966 Ford GT40 Mk I Road Coupe which sold for a final hammer price of $3,300,000.
